HomeMy WebLinkAbout20190611MIN.docx IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION MINUTES OF DECISION MEETING June 11, 2019 – 1:30 P.M. In attendance were CommissionersPaul Kjellander andKris Raper. Commissioner Eric Anderson participated by phone. Commissioner Kjellandercalled the meeting to order. The first order of business was APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. The Commission voted unanimously to approve the minutes as written. The second order of business was CONSENT AGENDA: 2. Action Item: Yao Yin’s May 20, 2019, Decision Memorandum re: Idaho Power Company’s Tariff Advice No. 19-06 Regarding Modification of Idaho Power Company’s Schedule No. 98 – Residential and Small Farm Energy Credit. 3. Action Item: Curtis Thaden’s May 22, 2019, Decision Memorandum re: Idaho Power Company’s Tariff Advice No. 19-05; Revision to Idaho Power’s Electric Service Schedule 95 Franchise Agreement with the City of Hollister. 4. Action Item: Edward Jewell’s May 23, 2019, Decision Memorandum re: In the Matter of the Application of Idaho Power for Approval of a Power Purchase Agreement with Jackpot Holdings, LLC, for the Sale and Purchase of up to 220 Megawatts of Renewable Solar Generation; Case No. IPC-E-19- 14. Commissioner Kjellander made a motion to approve Staff’s recommendation for items 2, 3 and 4 on the Consent Agenda. A vote was taken on the motion and it carried unanimously. The next order of business was FULLY SUBMITTED MATTERS: 5. Deliberation re: In the Matter of Updates to Published Avoided Cost Rates; Case Nos. AVU-E-19-05, IPC-E-19-13, PAC-E-19-05. [Edward Jewell, Attorney]. 6. Deliberation re: In the Matter of the Application of Rocky Mountain Power for Approval of a $15.1 Million Deferral of Net Power Costs, and Authority to Increase by 0.4 Percent Electric Service Schedule No. 94 (Energy Cost Adjustment); Case No. PAC-E-19-04. [Matt Hunter, Attorney]. 7. Deliberation re: In the Matter of the Application of Idaho Power Company for Authority to Implement Power Cost Adjustment Rates for Electric Service From June 1, 2019 Through May 31, 2020; Case No. IPC-E-19-16. [Matt Hunter, Attorney]. Commissioner Kjellander stated that items 5, 6 and 7under Fully Submitted Matters would be deliberated privately.
