TDS Telecom filed this tariff advice to increase the monthly credit to Lifeline recipients for the federal subscriber line charge. This revision is required because the FCC has established a change in the rate of the subscriber line charge effective July 1, 2002. The existing rate is $5.00; the new rate (and federal credit) will be $6.00 per ITSAP recipient. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends approval of this tariff advice, effective July 1, 2002.
