FOR A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY TO PROVIDE LOCAL EXCHANGE SERVICES IN THE STATE OF IDAHO CASE NO. MTC-06- ORDER NO. 30393 On October 3, 2006, My Tel Company, Inc. filed an Application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide local and interexchange telecommunications services within the State of Idaho.My Tel is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cordia Communications Corporation, and Cordia is a competitive local exchange carrier in the State of Idaho that provides service using Qwest's network. The Application states that My Tel plans to provide services by way of a resell arrangement with Cordia. On June 12, 2007, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of Modified Procedure to process My Tel's Application. Written comments were filed by Staff which indicated that Staff worked with the Company to make changes to its Application and illustrative tariff following the filing of its Application in October 2006. My Tel has provided the necessary financial information and the appropriate contact information for its registered agent for service of process in Idaho. The Company requested a waiver of the Commission requirement for an escrow account for deposits because the Company does not plan to require advance deposits from customers. My Tel holds a Certificate of Incorporation from the State of New York dated June , 2002 and a Certificate of Authority from the State ofIdaho dated September 5 , 2006. The Company s principal place of business is in White Plains, New York. My Tel has provided financial information and the appropriate contact information for its registered agent for service of process within Idaho.The Company understands and has agreed to comply with the Commission rules and requirements. Based upon our review of the filing and the record in this case, the Commission finds that My Tel's filing satisfies the requirements of the Commission s Rules and Procedural Order No. 26665. Thus, we approve My Tel's Application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and ORDER NO. 30393 Necessity to allow the Company to provide telecommunications services within the State Idaho. ORDER IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that My Tel Co., Inc. is granted a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide competitive telecommunications services within the state of Idaho. Because My Tel will not require advance deposits from customers, the Company is not required to maintain an escrow account for customer deposits. THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order may petition for reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of the service date of this Order. Within seven (7) days after any person has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See Idaho Code ~ 61-626.
