BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
On July 21,2023,Metropolitan Telecommunications of Idaho,Inc.("MetTel")notified
the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission")that it is converting to a limited liability
company resulting in a name change to MetropolitanTelecommunications of Idaho,LLC.
MetTel asserts that this is caused by the change in its business organizational structure only,and
will not result in any changes in management,operations,rates,services,or regulatory
obligations,and there is not going to be any impact on customers.
The Commission has jurisdiction over Certificates of Public Convenienceand Necessity.
IDAPA 31.01.01.114.MetTel requests to change its company name on Certificate No.448 that
was issued by Commission Order No.29826 in Case No.MRO-05-01.Staff verified and
confirmed that MetTel received the Certificate of Amendment of Foreign Registration'from the
Idaho Secretary of State on March 23,2023.
