SUBJECT: MOMENTUM TELECOM, INC.'S APPLICATION FOR A
CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY, CASE
NO. MNT-T-08-01
On April 29, 2008, Momentum Telecom, Inc. filed an Application for a Certificate of
Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN). The Company requested authority to provide
facilities-based local exchange and resold interexchange telecommunications services within the
State of Idaho.
On July 21, 2008, the Company filed a Petition to Withdraw Application with the
Commission. In the petition, the Company states that it "determined that its business plan
requires a more robust application filing and therefore seeks to withdraw the one in the instant
case." The Company also advises that it "wil file a new application seeking certification in the
near future." Consequently, this case should now.be closed.
