On May 22, 2002, the Commission received Advice No. 02-08 from Verizon Northwest, Inc. In this filing, Verizon proposes to remove current regulations and a rate for Numbers Not In Use, and adds new language to clarify the conditions under which customers of CentraNet may retain assigned blocks of numbers. The filing also adds a stipulation that requires the Vacation Service customer's number be working for at least 90 days in a calendar year. STAFF REVIEW Staff has reviewed the proposed changes to Verizon's I.P.U.C. No. 8 tariff and believes the changes comply with FCC guidelines. Verizon also states that the filing will have no revenue impact and has asked for an effective date of July 1, 2002. Therefore, Staff recommends approval of Verizon's Advice No. 02-08.
