SUBJECT: MIDVALE TELEPHONE EXCHANGES'S REQUEST TO
DISCONTINUE CERTAIN SERVICES, CASE NO. MID-T-08-02
On December 4, 2008, the Commission opened this docket after receiving a
photocopy of Midvale Telephone Exchange Inc.'s application fied with the Federal
Communications Commission to discontinue certin services. The cover letter fied with the
photocopied application states that the application affects a small portion of Midvale's operating
territory in Oregon, containing 22 customers in Oregon and "includes some largely unoccupied
land in Idaho." The area will now be served by Eagle Telephone System, Inc.
The fiing with the Commission is solely for notification and does not ask for any
Commission action or relief., and accordingly this case can be closed.
