Box 83720 Boise, ID 83714 RE: Addendum to MCI Access Transmission Services, LLC Case No. MCM-T-23-01 Application to Discontinue Residential and Small Business Local Exchange Service in Idaho Dear Ms. Noriyuki: On November1, 2023, MCImetro Access Transmission Services LLC d/b/a Verizon Access Transmission Services ("MCI") filed a letter with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (Case No. MCM-T-23-01), to notify the Commission pursuant to ID Title 62-612(2), that MCI planned to discontinue its provision of basic local exchange services to residential and small business customers effective on or after December 31, 2023. In the letter MCI noted that the standalone residential and small business interexchange service provided by MCI Communications Services LLC will not be discontinued at this time. Our long-distance service will continue to be available as a stand-alone offering to all affected customers. As such, MCI will continue to exist as a wholly owned subsidiary of Verizon Communications Inc. and will continue to provide local telecommunications services in Idaho as per our Idaho Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 337, which was issued by Commission Order No. 33663 and Case Number MCM- T-03-01.
