On January 8, 1998, the Commission issued Certificate of Public Convenience and
Necessity No. 337 ("CPCN No. 337") to MCImetro Access Transmission Services, Inc. The
Certificate was amended on August 18 2003 , when the Commission approved a name change to
MCImetro Access Transmission Services, LLC ("Metro" or "Company
On January 11 2006, Metro notified the Commission that it seeks a name change to
provide a means for the smooth integration of the purchase of Metro by Verizon and desires to
change the name on its CPCN No. 337 to MCImetro Access Transmission Services, LLC dba
Verizon Access Transmission Services. There were no changes to management, operations or
the costs and types of services offered to the public as a result of the restructure. Metro
submitted a revised tariff reflecting the name change, and requested the Commission to change
the name on the Company s Certificate. The Company provided a copy of its Certificate of
Assumed Business Name by the Idaho Secretary of State reflecting the name change. At the
January 24, 2006 decision meeting, Staff recommended and the Commission approved the
request for the name change.
Based on our review of the Application, we find that it is reasonable to amend
Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 337 to reflect the change from MCImetro
Access Transmission Services, LLC to MCImetro Access Transmission Services, LLC dba
Verizon Access Transmission Services.

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity
No. 337 be amended to reflect the name change from MCImetro Access Transmission Services
LLC to MCImetro Access Transmission Services, LLC dba Verizon Access Transmission
Services.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order may petition for
reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of the service date of this Order with regard to any
matter decided in this Order in Case No. MCM- T -03-1. Within seven (7) days after any person
has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See
Idaho Code ~~ 61-626 and 62-619.
