On November 9, 2009, the Commission received a letter from My Choice
Communications, Inc. dba MCCI requesting withdrawal of its Certificate of Public Convenience and
Necessity (CPCN) No. 462 issued by the Commission on August 16 2006 , in Order No. 30112.
MCCI stated it currently has no customers in Idaho and has discontinued providing intrastate
telecommunications service within Idaho. In its Decision Meeting on November 23, 2009, the
Commission approved MCCI's request for cancellation of Certificate No. 462.
COMMISSION FINDINGS
In March 2006, My Choice Communications, Inc. dba MCCI filed an Application with
the Commission requesting authority to provide telecommunications services within the State of
Idaho. In August 2006, the Commission granted MCCI's Application for a CPCN to provide
telecommunications services within Idaho. Order No. 30112.
On November 9, 2009, MCCI requested cancellation 'of its Certificate and stated that it
does not currently provide local exchange services to any customers within Idaho. Accordingly, no
customers will be affected by cancellation of MCCI's Certificate.Staff recommended the
Commission cancel Certificate No. 462 and remove the Company s price list or tariff on file.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that My Choice Communications, Inc. dba MCCI' s request
for cancellation of Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 462 is granted. Certificate
No. 462 is no longer in effect, and MCCI is no longer authorized to provide services in the State of
Idaho.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order or in interlocutory
Orders previously issued in this case may petition for reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of
the service date of this Order with regard to any matter decided in this Order or in interlocutory
Orders previously issued in this case. Within seven (7) days after any person has petitioned for
ORDER NO. 30952
reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See Idaho Code 99 61-619
and 61-626.
