On May 8 , 2007, the Commission issued Order No. 30312, Certificate No. 468
granting Matrix Telecom, Inc. a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide local
exchange and interexchange services within the State ofIdaho.
On September 26, 2008, Matrix requested the Commission to revise Certificate No.
468 to include its new business acquisitions. Matrix requests that its name be changed to Matrix
Telecom, Inc. dba Matrix Business Technologies dba Trinsic Communications. Matrix provided
a Certificate of Authority and Certificates of Assumed Business Name from the Idaho Secretary
of State. The Company states that business customers will be billed under Matrix Business
Technologies and its residential customers will be billed under Trinsic Communications. Matrix
states that its customers have been notified of the change.
Based on our review of the Application, we find that it is reasonable to amend
Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 468 to reflect the change from Matrix
Telecom, Inc. to Matrix Telecom, Inc. dba Matrix Business Technologies dba Trinsic
Communications.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity
No. 468 be amended to reflect the name change from Matrix Telecom, Inc. to Matrix Telecom
Inc. dba Matrix Business Technologies dba Trinsic Communications.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order may petition for
reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of the service date of this Order with regard to any
matter decided in this Order in Case No. MAT-07-01. Within seven (7) days after any person
has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See
Idaho Code ~ ~ 61-626 and 62-619.
