Dear Mr. Cusick:
Level 3 Communications is one of many providers of telecommunications services
to SunRocket, a provider ofVoIP services.
Level 3 has been informed by Sherwood Partners, acting on behalf of SunRocket
that it will terminate dial-tone to SunRocket subscribers on Sunday, August 5.
While Level 3 will keep local and 911 services active in its network, SunRocket's
end users will not be able to make or receive calls because of the termination of
dial-tone by SunRocket.
Level 3's number portability teams are working expeditiously to complete
requests for number porting, however, because of the high volume of requests
received, we believe all requests will not be completed by Sunday. In addition, we
expect the number of requests to increase substantially after SunRocket
discontinues service. Level 3 is committed to porting any requested numbers as
quickly as possible and will work with end users and service providers to do so.
Level 3 is providing this information to you in the event you receive questions or
comments from SunRocket end users.
