Re: Request of American Fiber Systems, Inc. to Withdraw Certificate
Dear Ms. Jewell:
American Fiber Systems, Inc. ("AFS"), by its undersigned counsel, requests that the
Commssion permt AFS to withdraw its Certificate without prejudice effective as soon
as possible. AFS is authorized to provide facilities-based and resold local exchange and
emerging telecommunications serces pursuant to Cerificate No. 427 issued in Order
No. 29494, IZ2-T-04-1 issued on May 11, 2004 as amended on November 26,2007 (the
"Certificate"). AFS, however, does not provide any local exchange servces and does not
intend to do so in the future.
Because AFS does not sere any local exchange customers in Idaho, AFS respectfully
submits that the withdrawal of its Certificate and any effective tarffs is reasonable and
necessar and wil not be disruptive to the present or future public interest, convenience
and necessity.
