ITN-T-09.01 FOR MITEL CLOUD SERVICES, INC.
BACKGROUND/}ISCUSSION
On July 31,2019, the Commission received a letter asking that Mitel Cloud Services, Inc
(f.k.a. Mitel Netsolutions, Inc) be allowed to cancel its Certificate No. 499 issued in
ITN-T-09-01. See Order No. 30995. The Company states that its business model has evolved
and the Company serves its customers through VolP and a variety of nomadic interconnected
services, and therefore, the CPCN is no longer necessary.
STAFF REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION
Staff has reviewed the request and agrees with the Company's assessment thal the CPCN
that was granted is no longer relevant for the services currently being offered. Moreover, the
Company's service offerings are outside of this Commission's authority. Staff supports the
request of the Cornpany and recommends that Certificate 499 be cancelled.
