RE:CASE NO. IOS-T-98-1; APPLICATION BY INTELLICALL OPERATOR SERVICES, INC. FOR A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY
On April 17, 1998, an Application was filed by Intellicall Operator Services, Inc. (IOS) for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide local exchange telecommunications services within the areas of the state served by U S WEST.  IOS intends to operate as a competitive local exchange carrier by reselling local exchange services obtained from incumbent companies.
The Staff has worked with IOS to obtain the necessary information to complete its Application, and now recommends that IOS’s Application be processed by Modified Procedure.

Should the Application of IOS for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity be processed by Modified Procedure?
