On November 30, 2021, The tdaho Public Utilities Commission ("PUC" or
"Commission") issued Order 35243, addressing (among other things) a deadline to intervene in
this proceeding. In accordance with the PUC's rules of procedure 7l through 75, Ziply Fiber
Northwest, LLC, and Ziply Fiber ldaho, LLC (together "Ziply Fiber") petition the Commission
for intervention as a party in this proceeding. The named Ziply Fiber entities are two certificated
Incumbent Local Exchange Carriers operating in Idaho inside their respective PUC-assigned
service territories.
The named Ziply Fiber operating entities both own and operate a substantial and
material amount of installed equipment used or useful in providing a variety of broadband
services in ldaho. Therefore, Ziply Fiber has a direct and substantial interest in the potential
outcomes of this proceeding and should be granted intervention as a party.
WHEREFORE, Ziply Fiber respectfully requests that the Commission grant its
petition for intervention as a pa$, and grant whatever other relief the Commission deems
appropriate under the circumstances.
Respectfu lly Submitted,
