AT&T COMMUNICATIONS OF THE
MOUNTAIN STATES,INC.'S PETITION TO INTERVENE
In accordance with IPUC 072 and OrderNo. 29125, AT&T Communications of the
Mountain States, Inc. ("AT&T") files this petition to intervene and, in support of its petition,
states as follows:
1. AT&T is a telecommunications carrier authorized to provide various
telecommunications services in Idaho including interexchange services.
2. The Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission) opened this docket in
response to the petition of CenturyTel and the Idaho Telephone Association for a declaratory
order prohibiting the use of "virtual" calling in Idaho, which would make such toll calls
subject to originating and terminating access charges.
3. As an interexchange carrier that pays access charges in ldaho, AT&T is directly
affected by the issues in this case.
4. AT&T requests that all pleadings, notices, and other filings be sent to:
