RE:CASE NO. GNR-T-98-19; APPLICATION OF HIGHSPEED.COM OF IDAHO, LLC FOR A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY TO PROVIDE TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES IN THE STATE OF IDAHO
On November 9, 1998, HighSpeed.Com, LLC (HighSpeed.Com) filed an Application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide interexchange services throughout the state of Idaho and to provide local exchange service in the territories of U S WEST and GTE. HighSpeed.Com filed amendments to its Application on November 24 and December 1. As amended, HighSpeed.Com now proposes to provide the following services: Interexchange carrier service throughout the state of Idaho and local exchange service within the existing exchange areas of U S WEST and GTE. These services will be provided by way of LMDs microwave radio as licensed by the FCC.
HighSpeed.Com requests that its Application be processed under Modified Procedure. The Commission Staff has reviewed the Application and believes that it is now complete. Consequently, Staff also proposes Modified Procedure.
