RE:CASE NO. GNR-T-98-16; APPLICATION OF ONE EIGHTY COMMUNICA­TION, INC.  FOR A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY
On October 15, 1998, an Application was filed by One Eighty Communications, Inc. for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide basic local exchange service throughout the state of Idaho.  The Application states that One Eighty intends to provide a full range of facilities-based, intrastate telecommunications services, and intends to compete with U S WEST Communications in U S WEST’s existing service areas.
Staff recommends that the Application of One Eighty Communications be processed by Modified Procedure.
