On July 21 , 2005 , the Commission received a letter from ICG Telecom Group, Inc.
requesting the cancellation of Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 356 (CPCN). In
its Decision Meeting on August 1 2005, the Commission determined to approve ICG Telecom
Group s request for cancellation of Certificate No. 356.
COMMISSION FINDINGS
In May 2002, ICG Telecom Group filed an Application with the Commission requesting
authority to provide telecommunications services within the entire State of Idaho. In June 2002, the
Commission granted ICG Telecom Group s Application for a CPCN to provide telecommunications
services within Idaho. Order No. 29070.
On July 21 2005 , ICG Telecom Group notified the Commission that it does not have any
operations in Idaho nor does it have any future plans to begin operations in Idaho, and therefore
requested cancellation of Certificate No. 356 and its interexchanage price list. Staff recommended
that the Commission cancel Certificate No. 356 and remove the Company s price list on file.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that ICG Telecom Group, Inc.s request for cancellation of
Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 356 is granted. Certificate No. 356 is no longer
in effect, and ICG Telecom Group is no longer authorized to provide service in the State of Idaho.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order or in interlocutory
Orders previously issued in this Case No. GNR-98-9 may petition for reconsideration within
twenty-one (21) days of the service date of this Order with regard to any matter decided in this Order
or in interlocutory Orders previously issued in this Case No. GNR-98-9. Within seven (7) days
after any person has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for
reconsideration. See Idaho Code 99 61-619 and 61-626.
