Pursuant to Commission Rule 272, the Commission Staff intends to engage in active settlement discussions with U S WEST. Originally, we set this for 1:30 p.m.. Because this conflicts with a decision meeting, we will be having a meeting next Monday, July 31, 2000, at 2:00 p.m. at the Commission offices. You are invited to participate. In addition, we need to discuss the implications of the recent Eighth Circuit decision on this Commission, if any.
