GNR-T-97-22 NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE OF SCHEDULING ORDER NO.  27310 On December 19, 1997, the Commission issued a Notice of Inquiry and Notice of Prehearing Conference to initiate this docket to analyze cost models and adopt a forward looking cost model for the purpose of evaluating the costs of providing intrastate telecommunications services within the state.  Specifically, the Commission desires information regarding the Hatfield Model, the Benchmark Cost Proxy Model (BCPM) and the Telcom Economic Cost Model developed by Ben Johnson Associates.  Pursuant to its Notice, the Commission convened a prehearing conference on January 8, 1998, to establish a schedule to process this case. YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission has determined that the following schedule will control the process of this case:   February 17, 1998 March 2, 1998 March 9 & 10, 1998 Filing of Idaho-Specific Cost Model with supporting testimony by proponents of each model. Filing of rebuttal testimony by all parties. Hearing. To eliminate unnecessary debate regarding some of the data inputs for the models, Staff will notify the parties by January 20, 1998, of agreed upon default inputs for the model runs. YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Commission will convene a hearing in this case on MONDAY, MARCH 9, 1998, AT 9:30 A.M. IN THE COMMISSION HEARING ROOM, 472 WEST WASHINGTON, BOISE, IDAHO, and continuing if necessary on Tuesday, March 10, 1998. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that persons desiring to intervene in this matter for the purpose of presenting evidence or cross-examining witnesses at hearing must file a Petition to Intervene with the Commission pursuant to this Commission's Rules of Procedure 72 and 73, IDAPA 31.01.01.072 and -.073.  Persons intending to participate at the hearing must file a Petition to Intervene on or before January 30, 1998.  Persons desiring to present their views without parties' rights of participation and cross-examination are not required to intervene and may present their comments without prior notification to the Commission or the parties. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all hearings will be conducted pursuant to the Rules of Procedure adopted by the Idaho Public Utilities Commission.  IDAPA 31.01.01.000 et seq.
