Dear Commission Secretary –
This letter is submitted to request that the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (Commission) notify the
Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
pursuant to 47 C.F.R. §54.314 that Viasat Carrier Services, Inc. (‘Company’) is eligible to receive federal
high-cost (Connect America Fund) support.
In accordance with 47 C.F.R. §54.313, enclosed is an affidavit attesting that the Company only used
support received in Idaho during the preceding calendar year (2022) and will only use support received in
Idaho in the coming calendar year (2024) for the provision, maintenance, and upgrading of facilities and
services for which support is intended.
The Company will file FCC Form 481 in compliance with FCC rules and respectfully requests that the
Commission notify the FCC and USAC by October 1 of this year that Viasat Carrier Services, Inc. is eligible to
receive high-cost support for 2024.
