In Order No.33951,the Commission opened a generic docket to allow interested
stakeholders to provide insight and commentary on the continued viabilityof the Idaho Universal
Services Fund.See Order Nos.33851 and 33951.The Commission ordered a schedule to be
adopted,including two public workshops and a deadline for interested stakeholders to submit
position papers.See Order No.33951 at 2.The first public workshop occurred on Wednesday,
January 17,2018,and interested stakeholders submitted position papers by January 31,2018.

Commission Staff has conveyed that it is summarizing and reporting on the
stakeholders'positions and its own analysis.As a result,Staff proposed that the second public
workshop,currentlyscheduled for February 28,2018,be cancelled.Staff also proposed to file
its summary and report with the Commission on April 4,2018,and set a stakeholder reply
deadline of 21 days.Staff contacted all stakeholders who filed position papers and attended the
first workshop,proposing the above outlined procedure,and no objection was received.
DISCUSSION
The issues presented were brought to the Commission at its February 20,2018,
decision meeting.Having reviewed the record,and noting that no one has objected to Staff's
proposal,we find it reasonable to cancel the February 28,2018,workshop and impose an April
4,2018,deadline for Staff to file its summary and report,with a 21-day deadline (April 25,
2018)for interested stakeholders to reply.
NOTICE OF AMENDED SCHEDULE
YOUR ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the procedure and schedule discussed above
is adopted.Specifically,the February 28,2018 workshop is cancelled,and the following
deadlines are set:
