SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR TRS PROVIDER,
CASE NO. GNR.T.16.O5
Staff initiated this case in April 2016, to advise the Commission about the (then,
pending) expiration of the Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) Administrator's contract
with Hamilton Telephone Company for TRS services; that contract expired December 1,2016.
Staff recommended that the Commission approve a2016 request for proposal (RFP), per IDAPA
31.46.01.105, to secure a new TRS service provider contract. The Commission approved the
2016 RFP by consent on May 2,2016. This matter can now be administratively closed.
