Comment:Say it ain’t so!The new area code is a disappointment,but the overlay idea is really bad.We could all have
to dial 10 numbers,but still have the numbers be geographic.So everyone in one area (I’d suggest everyone but Boise)
could remain 208,although they would have to dial all 10 numbers.I suggest that Boise change because it’s the
population center making all this necessary,and some rural areas still do not have reliable cell service,so people are
punching in the actual numbers.It’s too taxing on our memories and too confusing to have to try to separate,in our
minds,the different codes.Not everyone has automated dialing (as in cell and other programmable phones);if the
Boise area were the new area code,we would all know that and adjust our thinking accordingly.This way we have to
remember the random area code assignments of our friends.Please reconsider.

Comment:when dividing between the two area codes it would be great if it was done according to the time zones as
part of this state is Mountain and part is Pacific.
This would help with calls from out of state as people think that all of 208 is mountain because Boise is.
