Please describe your comment briefly:
I oppose the settlement that the company and staff have proposed because I think that when
service goes out on the weekend, 4 days is way too long for people who are reliant on
landlines. This particularly affects the elderly who have trouble hearing on cell phones and
it affects people in rural areas. A lot of older people don't have cell phones. If phone
service goes out on the weekend, service should be restored by close of business on Monday.
Knowing what spotty cell service there is some parts of the state, people, like farmers and
others who are dependent on landlines can suffer disastrous consequences if there are service
interruptions. Thank you.
