I don't have phone service from this company, but I do have broadband. I think they could
change the rules a bit if it meant I had better broadband service(I.e. given an extra day to
fix downed service). But, I think there needs to a monetary punishment if they don't meet the
requirements. And, it only makes sense that the customers affected get a monetary benefit if
they suffer from the company not meeting expectations/requirements. If they only get a slap
on the wrists for not meeting requirements, poor performance will continue to occur and get
worse. Also, if I did have phone service from this company, I would not approve of changing
the rules. I think I would be very disturbed to know I might be without access to dialing 911
for up to two days(one day is bad enough if you look at it from this perspective). I assume
this company is turning a profit; I think they should just hire more people to keep up with
their customers demands and state regulations.

i feel that the PUC should uphold the credits that are to be given to the customers, if this
company doesn't get services up and running with in time frames set by PUC. As a previous
worker for this company, i have seen the decline in customer service since Century Link took
over Qwest. This company has grown and being on the inside of the company i have witnessed
the down fall on how customers are treated and how employees are suppose to handle issues.
With more of the calls being directed to overseas call centers the customers are on the
loosing side of this vicious circle. i feel that the PUC main responcibilty is to protect
consumers and not let a company off the hook for subpar service. i hope that this Commision
sees through the smoke sceen of this company and stands its ground. I loved working for Qwest
as they knew what customer service was and was more forth coming in providing a service that
set standards. But Century Link is anything but customer friendly. As employees we were
directed to get customers off the phones in less then 6 minutes whether or not customer
issues were resolved. Employees were fired if they took the extra time to actually fix and
resolve problems because handleing times were not with in company standards. and just for the
record i was not fired i left on my own to work for a different company as i didnt feel good
on the way this company was treating customers and practises that i felt werent up to par,
with the way they were handleing some of the complaints that were coming in from customers
ordering services from vender call centers.
