On October 17, 2005, the Idaho Public Utilities Commission reviewed the
recommendation in your memorandum dated September 29 2005. In that memo, both you
and the Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) Advisory Committee recommended
awarding the TRS contract to Hamilton Telecommunications, Inc.
The Commission has approved your recommendation and asks that you begin
negotiating with Hamilton to secure a contract before the current contract's expiration date of
December 1 2005.
The Commission commends you for your efforts and hopes to approve a final TRS
contract as soon as possible.
