RE:LPIC Changes
PUG Order No. 29806
Dear Ms. Jewell:
CenturyTel of Idaho , Inc. and CenturyTel of the Gem State , Inc.CenturyTel"
hereby request a waiver of the requirements in PUG Order No. 29806 to revise
LPIC charges in the companys intrastate tariffs to coincide with Federal
Communications Commission (F.) required changes in its interstate tariffs.
The F.C. released Order DA 05-2713 on October 14 , 2005 that changed the
date that the interstate tariffs were required to become effective from November
, 2005 to January 1 , 2006.
The Idaho order required that all incumbent local exchange carriers file Idaho
tariffs to become effective at the same time as the federal tariffs but no later than
October 17 , 2005. Century Tel requests that it be allowed to file LPIC changes in
Idaho at the same time as it files its federal tariffs , on or before December 17
2005.
