FOR A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY TO PROVIDE LOCAL EXCHANGE TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES. CASE NO. GNR-02- NOTICE OF APPLICATION NOTICE OF MODIFIED PROCEDURE ORDER NO. 29203 NOTICE OF APPLICATION YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that on October 7, 2002, Computer Intelligence Inc. (Ce, Inc.) filed an Application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide basic local exchange service within the State of Idaho. CI2 Inc. proposes to initially provide service via an existing contract to the United States Army Reserve Command in Boise Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Rexburg, and Twin Falls. The Company states that contracts with HUD and the U.S. Navy are imminent. The Company is incorporated in the State of Georgia and has a Certificate of Authority issued by the Idaho Secretary of State. The Company is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia with an office in Washington, DC. Ce Inc. is the parent company of CP Aviation, CP Real Estate Corporation and Thacker Computer Intelligence2 LLC. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that Ce Inc. initially intends to resell local interLA T A, and intrastate services within the State of Idaho. The Company s target population is the federal, state, and local governments. In the near future the Company intends to target business and residential customers. Ce Inc. filed its financial information with its Application and asserts it will comply with all applicable Commission rules. CI2 Inc. asserts it owns no property in Idaho. NOTICE OF MODIFIED PROCEDURE YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission has determined that the public interest may not require a formal hearing in this matter and will proceed under Modified Procedure pursuant to Rules 201 through 204 of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission s Rules of Procedure, IDAP A 31.01.01.201 through -.204. NOTICE OF APPLICATION NOTICE OF MODIFIED PROCEDURE ORDER NO. 29203 YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that any person desiring to state a position on this Application may file a written comment in support or opposition with the Commission within twenty-one (21) days from the service date of this Notice.The comment must contain a statement of reasons supporting the comment. Persons desiring a hearing must specifically request a hearing in their written comments. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Application together with supporting workpapers, testimonies and exhibits, have been filed with the Commission and are available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Commission offices. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this case will be held pursuant to the Commission s jurisdiction under Title 61 of the Idaho Code and that the Commission may enter any final Order consistent with its authority under Title 61. ORDER IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Application of Computer Intelligence2 Inc. for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity be processed by Modified Procedure, IDAP A 31.01.01.201-204. Persons interested in submitting written comments in this matter should do so no later than 21 days from the service date of this Order.
