BEFORE THE IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION
IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF )BRIDGEBAND COMMUNICATIONS,INC.FOR )CASE NO.GNR-T-02-18ACERTIFICATEOFPUBLICCONVENIENCE)AND NECESSITY TO PROVIDE LOCAL )EXCHANGE TELECOMMUNICATIONS )SERVICES.)ORDER NO.29173
On September 20,2002,an application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and
Necessity to provide basic local exchange service was filed by Bridgeband Communications,Inc.
Bridgeband's Application states that it plans to offer commercial grade residential and
commercial voice,data,video and television services.Bridgeband plans to provide its services
in those areas of the State served by Teton Telecom,Qwest Corporation and Verizon Northwest
Inc.and plans to initially offer services to a subdivision near Driggs,Idaho.On November 8,
2002,the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of Modified Procedure to
process Bridgeband's Application.
Staff reviewed Bridgeband's Application and supporting documentation and filed
written comments recommending approval of its Application.Bridgeband has satisfied the
Commission's application requirements and also avers that it will comply with all relevant
Commission rules.The Commission finds that Bridgeband has satisfied all the requirements of
the Commission's Rules and Procedural Order No.26665 setting forth the requirements for an
application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity.It is therefore appropriate for
the Commission to approve the Application of Bridgeband.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Application of Bridgeband Communications,
Inc.for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity is granted to enable Bridgeband to
provide basic local exchange service in the areas served by Teton Telecom,Qwest Corporation
and Verizon Northwest,Inc.and a subdivision near Driggs,Idaho.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER.Any person interested in this Order (or in issues finally
decided by this Order)or in interlocutoryOrders previouslyissued in this Case No.GNR-T-02-
18 may petition for reconsideration within twenty-one (21)days of the service date of this order

with regard to any matter decided in this Order or in interlocutoryOrders previously issued in
this Case No.GNR-T-02-18.Within seven (7)days after any person has petitioned for
reconsideration,any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration.See Idaho Code §61-
626.
