On March 2 2010, Big Sky Telecom, Inc. notified the Commission that it was sold in
2009 to Digital Detour, Inc., and provided no minutes of service, nor had any revenues for the year
2009. In its Decision Meeting on May 5 2010, the Commission determined to cancel Certificate No.
405.
COMMISSION FINDINGS
In August 2002, Big Sky Telecom, Inc. filed an Application with the Commission
requesting authority to provide telecommunications services within the State of Idaho , and in
October 2002, the Commission granted Big Sky s Application for a CPCN. Order No. 29129.
On March 2 2010, Big Sky notified the Commission that it was sold to Digital Detour
Inc. in 2009, and therefore had no minutes of service or revenues for the year 2009. Big Sky filed
Articles of Dissolution with the Secretary of State s office on June 28, 2009. Accordingly, no
customers will be affected by cancellation of Big Sky s Certificate. Staff recommended the
Commission cancel Certificate No. 405 and remove the Company s price list or tariff on file.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Big Sky Telecom, Inc.s Certificate of Public
Convenience and Necessity No. 405 is cancelled. Certificate No. 405 is no longer in effect, and Big
Sky is no longer authorized to provide telecommunications services in the State ofldaho.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order or in interlocutory
Orders previously issued in this case may petition for reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of
the service date of this Order with regard to any matter decided in this Order or in interlocutory
Orders previously issued in this case. Within seven (7) days after any person has petitioned for
reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See Idaho Code 99 61-619
and 61-626.
