RE:IDAHO POWER COMPANY TARIFF ADVICE NO. 10-04; CITY
OF EAGLE, IDAHO FRANCHISE FEE AGREEMENT MODIFICATION.
BACKGROUND
On November 29 2010, Idaho Power Company submitted a tariff advice regarding the
franchise agreement between Idaho Power Company and the City of Eagle, Idaho. This tariff
revision decreases the franchise fee to 1 %. Effective, January 1 , 2005, the franchise fee for the city
of Eagle, Idaho was temporarily increased from 1% to 3% through December 31 , 2010 as a result of
a Settlement Stipulation between the city and Idaho Power that was approved by the Idaho Public
Utilities Commission under Order No. 29634. This tariff revision will reduce the franchise fee to
1 % effective January 1 2011.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission accept Tariff Advice No.1 0-04 for filing with an
effective date of January 1 2011.
