December 1 , 2004 Idaho Public Utilities Commission Doug Cooley, Telecommunications Section POBox 83720 Boise, 10 83720-0074 Gtf/(- T () RE:Order #29631 Shoup EAS Dear Mr. Cooley: In response to the above referenced order, effective January 19, 2005 Rural Telephone Company will extend toll-free service from its Shoup exchange into North Fork and Salmon, Idaho. We will be notifying our Shoup customers this month regarding the impending EAS. We will also inform them about the resulting rate increase found reasonable by the Idaho Commission. Rural Telephone s monthly residential rates will increase from $21.63 to $24.10 and business rates will increase from $40.68 to $42. as outlined in the order.
