RE:Order #29631
Shoup EAS
Dear Mr. Cooley:
In response to the above referenced order, effective January 19, 2005 Rural Telephone
Company will extend toll-free service from its Shoup exchange into North Fork and
Salmon, Idaho. We will be notifying our Shoup customers this month regarding the
impending EAS. We will also inform them about the resulting rate increase found
reasonable by the Idaho Commission. Rural Telephone s monthly residential rates will
increase from $21.63 to $24.10 and business rates will increase from $40.68 to $42.
as outlined in the order.
We look forward to providing this much anticipated benefit to our customers. If you
have any questions or concerns, please don t hesitate to contact me.
