CASE NO. GNR- T -00- ORDER NO. 30579 On June 5, 2008 , the Commission received a notice from Trinsic Communications, Inc. requesting immediate cancellation of its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 389 and withdrawal of its price list on file with the Commission. The Company stated it filed bankruptcy in 2007 and does not have any operations or customers in Idaho. In its Decision Meeting on June 23 2008, the Commission determined to approve Trinsic s request for cancellation of Certificate No. 389. COMMISSION FINDINGS In July 2001 , the Commission granted and issued Z- Tel Communications, Inc. Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 389 to provide local exchange and facilities-based services within Idaho. In December 2004, the Commission granted a name change from Z- Tel to Trinsic Communications, Inc. On June 5, 2008, Trinsic filed a request to cancel its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to provide interexchange and local exchange services in Idaho. The Company stated that it filed bankruptcy in 2007 and has ceased operations within Idaho and asked that its price lists and Certificate No. 389 be withdrawn immediately. Staffrecommended the Commission cancel Certificate No. 389 and remove the Company s price list on file. The Commission approves Trinsic Communications, Inc.' s request to cancel its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity. ORDER IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Trinsic Communications, Inc.' s request for cancellation of Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 389 is granted. Certificate No. 389 is no longer in effect, and Trinsic is no longer authorized to provide services in the State ofIdaho. THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order or in interlocutory Orders previously issued in this case may petition for reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of ORDER NO. 30579 the service date of this Order with regard to any matter decided in this Order or in interlocutory Orders previously issued in this case. Within seven (7) days after any person has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See Idaho Code 99 61-619 and 61-626.
