RE: APPLICATION OF TEL WEST COMMUNICATIONS LLC FOR A
CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY
CASE NO. GNR-T-00-28

On August 17, 2000, Tel West Communications, LLC filed an Application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (“CPCN”). Currently this matter, Case No. GNR-T-00-28, is still pending before the Commission. On August 20, 2001, rather than amending its previous Application, Tel West filed a new Application for a CPCN in Case No. GNR-T-01-18. This Application is meant to supersede the Application filed in Case No. GNR-T-00-28.
Rather than process both Applications the Commission will close Case No. GNR-T-00-28 and consider the Company’s Application contained in Case No. GNR-T-01-18. Accordingly, the Application filed on August 17, 2000 by the Company in Case No. GNR-T-00-28 is closed.
