On April 28 , 2010, NOW Communications, Inc. notified the Commission that although it
obtained a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity from the Commission, it never provided
telecommunications services in Idaho. In its Decision Meeting on May 10, 2010, the Commission
determined to cancel Certificate No. 376.
COMMISSION FINDINGS
In March 2000, NOW Communications, Inc. filed an Application with the Commission
requesting authority to provide telecommunications services within the State ofldaho, and in July
2000, the Commission granted NOW's Application for a CPCN. Order No. 28452.
On April 28, 2010, NOW notified the Commission that it has never provided
telecommunications services in Idaho. Accordingly, no customers will be affected by cancellation of
NOW's Certificate. Staff recommended the Commission cancel Certificate No. 376 and remove the
Company s price list or tariff on file.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that NOW Communications, Inc.s Certificate of Public
Convenience and Necessity No. 376 is cancelled. Certificate No. 376 is no longer in effect, and
NOW is no longer authorized to provide telecommunications services in the State ofldaho.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order or in interlocutory
Orders previously issued in this case may petition for reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of
the service date of this Order with regard to any matter decided in this Order or in interlocutory
Orders previously issued in this case. Within seven (7) days after any person has petitioned for
reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See Idaho Code 9 9 61-619
and 61-626.
