HomeMy WebLinkAbout28926.docBEFORE THE IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF DIECA COMMUNICATIONS, INC., FOR A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY ) ) ) )) CASE NO. GNR-T-00-7 ORDER NO. 28926 On February 25, 2000, Dieca Communications, Inc., filed an Application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (“CPCN”) with the Commission. On March 10, 2000, Staff sent Dieca a letter requesting additional data and clarification of the Company’s desire to seek a CPCN. Staff received no response to this letter. Furthermore, Staff has had repeated contacts with the Company and it has represented that it is not planning on expanding its operations into Idaho at this time. Based on these facts Staff recommended that this Certificate be dismissed without prejudice and this case be closed. O R D E R IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Dieca Communications, Inc.’s Application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity is closed. THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order (or in issues finally decided by this Order) or in interlocutory Orders previously issued in this Case No. GNR-T-00-7 may petition for reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of the service date of this Order with regard to any matter decided in this Order or interlocutory Orders previously issued in this case. Within seven (7) days after any person has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See Idaho Code §§ 61626 and 62-619.
