RE: Idaho PUC 1999 Annual Regulatory Fee

On May 26, 1999, the Idaho Public Utilities Commission returned a check to your Company for its 1999 PUC annual regulatory fee. As noted in the enclosed letter, the check in the amount of $50.00 was deposited twice into the Commission’s account but returned both times for insufficient funds. As of this date, the Commission has not received the Company’s 1999 regulatory fee.

The Commission is preparing to issue an Order to Show Cause and schedule a show cause hearing for TTI’s failure to pay its 1999 regulatory fee. The Company’s failure to pay its regulatory fee also subjects it to a daily civil penalty not to exceed $2,000. See Idaho Code §§ 61-1005 and 61-706. To avoid the show cause hearing and further legal action, the Commission must receive the past due regulatory fee in the amount totaling $51.03 (including interest) no later than January 31, 2000. The Commission’s address is shown at the bottom of this page.
