You are correct that Idaho law does not require the Idaho Commission to approve the restructuring and consolidation of McLeodUSA and CCTS.  At such time as your client has completed its restructuring, please advise the Commission Secretary so that CCTS’s price list may be removed. The Commission has also reviewed the procedures outlined in your notification letter for transitioning customers from CCTS to McLeodUSA Telecom.  The customer notification and continuation of rate plans for a determinant period are sufficient to protect customers and meet the requirements of Idaho Code § 62-606 (requiring at least a ten-day notice of price changes).  Copies of your customer notices should be sent to Beverly Barker, the supervisor of the Consumer Assistance Section, at the Commission’s address set out below. If you have further questions, please contact me at (208) 334-0312. Sincerely yours, Donald L. Howell, II Deputy Attorney General DLH/vld:rohrbach.dh cc:Beverly Barker Barb Barrows Angie Velasquez Karen Snyder PETER A.  ROHRBACH KARIS A.  HASTINGS CINDY D.  JACKSON HOGAN & HARTSON, LLP 555 13TH ST, NW WASHINGTON, D.C.  20004-1109
