RE: Idaho Public Utilities Commission Order No. 26280, Regarding Project Mutual Telephone Cooperative Association, Inc.
Dear Ms. Wright:
In response to a Petition for Clarification filed by U S WEST Communications, Inc. (U S WEST) on November 9, 1995, the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (IPUC) issued Order No. 26280 regarding the sale to Project Mutual Telephone Cooperative Association, Inc.of the Oakley telephone exchange.  In that Order, the Commission stated at footnote 2: “By approving the sale of the Oakley exchange, the Commission does not object to the necessary changes in the study area boundaries caused by transferring the Oakley exchange from the U S WEST Idaho study area to the Project Mutual study area.”  No further action has been taken in that case by the PUC that would alter, amend or otherwise affect the language in Order No. 26280.
