On July 13,2011,Global Capacity Group,Inc.requested that its Certificate of Public
Convenience and Necessity (CPCN)No.471 issued by the Commission on November 7,2007,be
cancelled.Global stated it has no customers or facilities in the State of Idaho.In its Decision
Meeting on August 1,2011,the Commission approved Global’s request for cancellation of
Certificate No.471.
COMMISSION FINDINGS
In July 2007,Global Capacity Group,Inc.filed an Application for a CPCN to provide
facilities-based and resold local exchange and interexchange services in Idaho.In November 2007,
the Commission granted Global’s Application for a CPCN.Order No.30460.
On July 13,2011,Global requested cancellation ofits Certificate and stated that it has no
customers or facilities in Idaho.Staffrecommended the Commission cancel Certificate No.471 and
remove the Company’s price list or tariff on file.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Global Capacity Group,Inc.’s request for cancellation of
Certificate ofPublic Convenience and Necessity No.471 is granted.Certificate No.471 is no longer
in effect,and Global is no longer authorized to provide telecommunications services in the State of
Idaho.
THIS IS A FiNAL ORDER.Any person interested in this Order or in interlocutory
Orders previously issued in this case may petition for reconsideration within twenty-one (21)days of
the service date of this Order with regard to any matter decided in this Order or in interlocutory
Orders previously issued in this case.Within seven (7)days after any person has petitioned for
reconsideration,any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration.See Idaho Code §§61-619
and 61-626.
