RE:TRANSFER OF CERTIFICATE NO.370 FROM FRETEL
COMMUNICATIONS,LLC TO BLACKFOOT COMMUNICATIONS,
INC.DBA FREMONT COMMUNECATLONS;CASE NO.FRC-T-99-O1.
On September 2,2014,the Commission received a letter from Blackfoot
Communications,Inc.requesting the transfer of Certificate No.370 from Fretel
Communications,LLC (“Fretel”)to Blackfoot Communications,Inc.dba Fremont
Communications (“Blackfoot”or “Company”).The Company states that Fretel will merge into
Blackfoot effective October 1,2014.The merger will be transparent to the customers and will
not change the way business will be conducted.Both Fretel and Blackfoot are wholly-owned
subsidiaries of BTC 1-loldings,Inc.A Price List with the new name was included with the letter.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff has reviewed Blackfoot’s request and recommends that the Commission approve
the transfer of Certificate No.370 from Fretel Communications.LLC to Blackfoot
Communications,Inc.dba Fremont Communications.
