On October 5, 2016, Blackfoot Communications, Inc. dba Fremont Communications
notified the Commission that the Company has changed its brand name to Blackfoot
Communications, Inc. dba Blackfoot. The Company provides resold and facilities-based basic
local exchange service in Idaho under Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 370.
The Company has asked the Commission to update the CPCN to reflect the Company's new
brand name. With this Order, we grant the Company's request.
BACKGROUND
In early 2000, the Commission authorized Fretel Communications, LLC to provide
resold and facilities-based basic local exchange services in Idaho under Certificate No. 370. See
Order No. 28248. In late 2014, Fretel transferred Certificate No. 370 to Blackfoot
Communications, Inc. dba Fremont Communications. See Order No. 33127.
The Company has now notified the Commission that it has changed its brand name to
Blackfoot Communications, Inc. dba Blackfoot. The Company also filed a copy of the
Certificate of Assumed Business Name with the Idaho Secretary of State's office. Staff has
reviewed this documentation and recommended that the Commission amend Certificate No. 370
to reflect the name change to Blackfoot Communications, Inc. dba Blackfoot.
FINDINGS
Based on our review of the Company's filing and Staff's recommendation, the
Commission finds it appropriate to amend Certificate No. 370 to reflect that the Company has
changed its brand name to Blackfoot Communications, Inc. dba Blackfoot.

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Certificate No. 370 is amended to reflect that the
Certificate holder's name is Blackfoot Communications, Inc. dba Blackfoot.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order may petition for
reconsideration within twenty-one (21) days of the service date of this Order with regard to any
matter decided in this Order in Case No. FRC-T-99-01. Within seven (7) days after any person
has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration. See
Idaho Code§§ 61-626 and 62-619.
