On January 14 2010, Potlatch Telephone Company (Potlatch) filed Tariff Advice Letter 10-01 P seeking approval to decrease the Safety Line Service rate from $54.95 to $49.95. In the filing, Safety Line Service is described as "a bundle for residential customers who have their main telecommunications service with a wireless provider but require a basic access line for back-up and high speed data." The bundle includes a residential one-party line and 1.5 Mbps high speed data service. Potlatch states that the residential service portion of the bundle is priced above cost. The Company requests an effective date of February 15 2010. ST AFF ANALYSIS Staff has reviewed the filing and accepts the cost information provided by Potlatch. Staff believes the proposed terms and rates are reasonable and recommends approval of this filing.
