COMMISSION FINDINGS In August 2006,the Commission issued Order No.30116 granting Direct Communications Star West a CPCN to provide broadband and dial-up Internet access to residents and businesses within the State of Idaho.Certificate No.463 was issued to Direct Communications. In September 2009,Direct Communications requested that its CPCN be transferred to Direct Communications Cable LLC.On December 2,2015,Direct withdrew that request and instead requested cancellation of Certificate No.463.We find that Direct Communications is not currently providing service to customers in Idaho.Consequently,we cancel Certificate No.463 and direct Staff to remove the Company’s tariff on file. ORDER IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Direct Communications Star West,Inc.’s request for cancellation of Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No.463 is granted.Certificate No. 463 is no longer in effect,and Direct Communications is no longer authorized to provide telecommunications services in the State of Idaho. THIS IS A FINAL ORDER.Any person interested in this Order or in interlocutory Orders previously issued in this case may petition for reconsideration within twenty-one (21)days of the service date of this Order with regard to any matter decided in this Order or in interlocutory Orders previously issued in this case.Within seven (7)days after any person has petitioned for reconsideration,any other person may cross-petition for reconsideration.See Idaho Code §sS 62-619 and 61-626.
