FOR BROADBAND INVESTMENT TAX
CREDIT CERTIFICATION

DIRECT COMMUICATIONS-
ROCKLAND'S APPLICATION
Direct Communcations-Rockland files ths Application for an Idao Public Utilities
Commission ("Commission") order certifying that certain telecommuncations equipment is
eligible for the broadband infastrcture ta credit authorized by Section 63-3029, Idaho Code.
In support of its Application, Direct Communcations-Rockland states as follows:
1) Direct Communications-Rockland is a provider of broadband telecommunications
service and other telecommunications services in southern Idao.
2) Durng the calendar year 2007, Direct Communcations-Rockland made certin
investments that constitute "quaified broadband equipment" withn the meaning of Section 63-
3029(I)(3)(b), Idaho Code. Ðçliibit A, attched hereto, describes Direct Communcations-
Rockland's qualified broadband equipment and contans the information and representations
required by this Commission's Order No. 28784 in Case No. GNR-T-Ol-lO.

4) Direct Communcations-Rockland does not believe that the public interest
requires a hearng on this matter and, therefore, requests that the Commission approve the
Application by Minute Order or under Modified Procedure. In the event the Commission
determines that fuher proceedings are necessar, Direct Communcations-Rockland stands
ready for immediate hearngs.
WHEREFORE, Direct Communcations-Rockland requests that the Commission issue its
order determining that the installed equipment described in Exhibit A constitutes quaified
broadband equipment eligible for the investment tax credit authorized by Section 63-30291,
Idaho Code.
