BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
On August 4 2009, Red-Ban Communications, LLC ("Red-Ban ) filed a request to
amend its Certificate No. 452. The Company was issued Certificate No. 452 on August 15 2005
in Case No. RDB- T -05-1 and has subsequently changed its business model and now requests that
its name be changed to Red-Ban Communications, LLC dba NextPhone.
The Company also filed its updated Secretary of State authorization and a complete
replacement price list reflecting the new organization s name.
ST AFF RECOMMENDATION AND COMMISSION DECISION
Staff has reviewed the Company s changes and finds that these changes will be seamless
to the Customers and recommends approval.
