RE:ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER TARIFF ADVICE NO. 09-04 TO UPDATE
TARIFF REGULATIONS 7, 8, 9, AND 10
BACKGROUND
On July 28, 2009, Rocky Mountain Power ("Company") fied Tariff Advice No. 09-04
with proposed revisions of the Company's Regulations 7,8,9, and 10 in the State ofIdaho. The
purpose of the fiing is to update the Company's regulations to comply with changes to IDAPA
Administrative Rules from Docket No. 31-2101 in Case No. RUL-U-07-02. The proposed.
revisions for the Company's regulations correspond to the following areas:
. Regulation 7 - Meter Tests and Adjustments
. Regulation 8 - Bilings
. Regulation 9 - Deposits
. Regulation 10- Termination of Service and Payment Arangements
. Table of Contents - Electric Service Regulations..
In addition to the substantive changes proposed, the Company is also making minor
housekeeping changes.
STAFF REVIEW & RECOMMENDATION
Staff is working with the Company to clarify the proposed tariff language. Because the
Company has requested an effective date of August 28,2009, Staff recommends that this Tariff
Advice be suspended until September 1 to allow Staff and the Company to complete its
discussions. Staff wil prepare a decision memo with its final recommendations for
consideration during the Commission's next decision meeting on August 31, 2009.
